Greetings and welcome to the official website of Alpha Omicron Omega, Iota Phi Theta^® Fraternity, Inc. It is my hope that during my tenure as Polaris we continue to progress and grow as a chapter and be known as a source of support to the city of Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Pope Army Air Field and surrounding communities in North Carolina. We will succeed due to our steadfast commitment of the Brothers of this great chapter.

We stand by our Fraternity principles, which are the driving force for us in the fraternity and guide our movement. There is no place I would rather be than right here, right now, and until my time as Polaris is complete I will work as hard as I can for the chapter, the city and state we support, and the fraternity. If there is anything we, the Brothers of Alpha Omicron Omega, can do for you, or to assist you, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Eastern Regional Polaris

Brother Jason C. Eckles was initiated into the Alpha Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. on April 20, 2003. He is the number 7 on his line of 9, deemed "The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly" and is also known by his line name "Smeegle."

After only being in the fraternity for one week Bro. Eckles volunteered to be the Eastern Regional Secretary. Since that date he has held the following regional positions: Regional Treasurer, DC/DE/MD State Director, and Assistant Regional Polaris. This is his second term as the Eastern Regional Polaris. Professionally Brother Eckles has been a teacher in Baltimore City for 13 years and has been a basketball coach for 10 years.

First giving honor to God and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I want to take this time to thank all of my brothers for your prayers, letters, calls and cards during this time of my family's deep loss of my father.

It's moments like these when you realize how important your family, friends and loved ones are, and you get to see the support and benevolence of our Brotherhood. I have always believed and felt that I belong to the best Brotherhood in the world, and that Iota is an extension of our family.
